- I've had a sinus infection that would not die
- I had to put about $650 worth of work into my car
- I spent my birthday in an ICU in Akron with my dying grandfather
- My grandfather did actually die (the day after my birthday, which happens to be my father's birthday)
- We (i.e., my mother and I) had a crisis of religion. It wasn't a crisis of faith- we were totally down with the God part- but more of a break with the Church
- My grandmother became rather ill and increasingly incapable of being left on her own during the day
- Our pet rabbit died, while I was in the next room. I heard her scream and she was gone when I went to investigate.
- There were issues at work which ultimately led to me sort of losing my job (I quit, it was my choice, but it's not entirely inaccurate to say I lost my job, either)
- My grandmother wound up getting extremely sick and going into the hospital where she died a week later.
And it's not even June yet. Things have to get better from here, or I'm boycotting the rest of 2007.

That was how I felt about 2006. The best part about it was that it was eventually over. Hang in there!

Well, it is now July! Life has gotten better and we are all moving along fine... I could run a litany like yours for 2007 but it would be longer and sadder and things are looking a lot wonky for the next 90 days... from my eyeview...
So buck up little camper we have finished the summer solstice (excuse the spelling) and we are in the great hot days of summer
You are in the center of smallville and you will be alright - your horizons are for sustainable housing and fairness for all - the trip will be anything but dull
and besides you got to see Chicago for a while - had a great O'Hare experience and tomorrow is once again MONDAY!
having fun yet?
